Bad to Just Disappear to Europe?

My whole life, for some unexplainabe reason, I have had an absolute obssession with travel. It doesn't really even have to do with the fact that I loved all of my trips to Disney World as a child. I just always knew that someday I would travel the world. Last summer, I had my first taste at real travel when I jetted off to France for 3 mind-blowingly-amazing weeks. And, as fall is changing into dreary winter in my mid-western town, I can't stop thinking about how I just can't wait to get out there again and see some more of the world.

Here are my top 10 places in Europe I want to go (at the moment... and not in any particular order)

1) Copenhagen, Denmark
My best friend during my sophomore year in highschool was a foreign exchange student from CPH. This summer, I think I actually may live with him for a few weeks, like we've been planning for almost 3 years now. I can't wait.

2) Chamonix, France
Last summer, when we stopped for 2 nights in this magical touristy Alpine city, I fell in love. It probably helped that this extremely adorable band from Manchester was playing and we became friends with them too... Gotta love British boys.

3) Eger, Hungary
I read about this wine-producing town today during my fitness walking gym class, and have been told stories about it from my old Economics teacher. I would love to spend a day tasing wines from caves carved out of the side of a hill then take the so-called "doofus train" back the city center.

4) Edinburgh, Scottland
Ever since I watched Samantha Brown's tv show about Edinburgh on the Travel Channel, I have wanted to check out this green city, to taste real Scotch, and meet the old kilt-wearing Scottish men.

5)Berlin, Germany
Amazing parties, culture, and young scene at less cost than most major European cities- what more can a girl ask for?

6)Prague, Czech
I want to visit this blossoming city before it becomes too touristy and while prices are still lower

7) Switzerland
Again, with the Alps obsession. I love LOVE them and would like to see them from the Swiss point of view.

8) Amsterdam, Holland
Since I'm mostly Norweigan, it would be cool to visit where my ancestors are from while experienceing the Dutch coffehouse culture..

9) Austria
I read in a wine and cheese magazine about the incredible wine culture in Austria and would love to check it out. Also, I hear the scenery is lovely.

10) Montmartre- Paris, France
I also fell in love here. What wouldn't I do to have my own flower-filled window sill to sit on and sip espresso from?

Close runners-up: Dublin, Manchester, Provence, Ios, Budapest, Stockholm, London, Cinque Terre (Italy)
