best behavior

I pretty much love everything about the Best Behavior Fall/Winter 08 line. The grungy, baggy accent neutral ensembles look so comfortable yet chic. Love the zipper boots!

incredible vintage

Incredibly photoshoot featured in Italian Vogue shot by Steven Meisel. Again I repeat- incredible. I can't imagine how long it took to piece together the looks.

a get-real look book

I love looking at and making look books. But often times, they're filled with models looking amazing in the latest cat-walk trends. Well, New York Magazine has a unique look book, filled with the faces of New York. Each post features a different, stylish and unique New Yorker and a brief interview about them. What a great idea.

flower child

Yesterday, I needed a little flower in my hair, so I made this headband with a piece of black string and two fake flowers. I thought it was adorable, so I wore it again today but with a braid around my head.
I got my inspiration from here.

be sure to wear some flowers in your hair

I am in love with this look, photographed by the great facehunter. Adorable headband with the simple t-shirt tied up to give the retro look. All pulled together by a great vintage saddlebag and some grey heeled oxfords.

Awesome, not super expensive, shoes from Zuriick. So simple, yet so incredibly and inexplainably cool. I think I might add these to my Christmas List

southern charm

All the Kings of Leon on my mind inspired me to put together an outfit. I think this would be prime to wear in Tennessee or Texas on a ranch... or just at their concert.

crazy for Yokoo

A great find on etsy today- Yokoo. She hand-knits every chunky scarf-family item from wool. I would love owining one of her pieces because they look like the most comfortable thing ever to just toss on with any outfit on a cold winter morning.

blue hat chic

This is exactly the look for this season! I found this picture of Julia Frakes on Altimira nyc but you can also check out her blog, Bunny Bisous (for those of you that don't speak French, that means bunny kisses :) How adorable. I especially love the blue hat.

mini fancy pants

If I had a child, I would definately buy him/her a pair (or 7) of these adorable little suspender pants. They come in sizes 0-6 and about a hundred different, bright and cheery colors. They're made by Danish designer Mette and can be ordered off of her site, Floedehesten. Also, check out her adorable blog!

This blog is unbelievably cool. It has style, photography, and Swedish flair. Too bad I can't read Swedish... but just looking at all of her original photos and looks is inspiring. Check it out!

a good morning

Taken in Helsinki, this couple exemplifies the layed-back yet super stylish vibe of Scandinavians. Love her socks!

Au Revoir Simone

Brooklyn-based, Au Revoir Simone bandmates, Erika Forster, Annie Hart, and Heather D'Angelo, are three incredibly chic girls. Their electro-pop music is adorable. They fill the pages of fashion magazines with their vintage style and model-esque looks. I'm sure the future looks nothing bright for them.

Italian cozy.

Milan-based designer, Sartoria Vico created an entire line of cozy and chic wool knits that would be perfect on a chilly winter day. I'm especially lovin' the Cappuccino scarf/hood. Christmas list anybody?
