Lovlies,

It's been so long since my last post, but upon re-falling in love with my camera, I decided to give the blog thing another go so I can post some pictures and distract myself even more from classes.

Since last posting I...

-moved to my dorm at UW Madison and survived a full semester of college (almost)

-got a tattoo

- went to Hawaii, Michigan (twice), my first 2 music festivals, hosted my Danish friend for a couple of weeks and met Steve Aoki

-joined WUD music committee, made my best friends and we

-signed a lease on the most amazing house in the world for next year

-fell in love with biking, the farmers market, Madison in general

-came down with mono

-learned how to sail

-dance dance danced.

For The Anniversary Of My Death

Every year without knowing it I have passed the day

This is my favorite poem thus far. I read it in the book 10 Poems that will Change Your Life. I love it because by pointing out that each year, I unknowingly pass the day that is the anniversary of my own death, I remember to live each day as if there is no tomorrow and treat the present as a gift. It reminds me to live life today- travel, laugh, love, get inspired- because you never know what's going to happen in the future.

If you don't really think you like poetry, I strongly suggest reading that book. The author, Roger Housden, does a phenomenal job picking the 10 poems and then analyzing them so they're much easier to understand.

Lovely Tuesday!

Lovely Tuesday everyone!

Here are some things going on with my life this week that I'm really excited for:

-Leaving for San Francisco tomorrow- flying first class and staying at the Hilton :)
-I bought my tickets for the Kings of Leon concert in Milwaukee next Wednesday last night
-It snowed yesterday!
-Christmas is on its way
-....and crew-neck Monday was a sucess (I'll explain later)

On another note, I found this really cool site that lets you map your itinerary for a vacation, etc. Its absolutely perfect for helping to visualize my backpacking tour through Europe next summer! You can also post pics from your trip and keep a blog of your travels on the site.
